STARIO
This prototype app was created for Android users who want to listen to music on the go. It uses a colour palette of red which makes the app look modern and attract the user faster. Also, it is user-friendly and allows you to browse through 3 music categories, and the name STARIO was inspired by the word STEREO. To view this app, an installation of the Jasonette application would be required. The picture on the left shows the fully app designed.

SUSANNE STRATER
This website was created with a WordPress framework for an artist who wanted to revamp and modernize her own website. The biggest challenge for this project was to create a user-friendly design grid that would match the client’s artistic style but as well keeping it simple with only two colours.

SIMPLE
Simple is a fictional e-commerce brand that sells basic clothing for women. The front-end of this website is clean and easy to use which allows customers to shop for clothing in an organized manner. On the other hand, the back-end uses a database that stores the client’s transactions in a secure way. The "add to cart" button only allows clients to purchase one item at time for now, but I’m planning in the future to add a complete cart. Though it isnt fully responsive, it has a great database.

3D MODELING
This model has been created with a 3D modeling software named Sculptris as my first attempt at sculpting on the computer. The main theme of this project was to create something that doesn’t exist. Therefore, I was inspired by a lion and a mythical creature named a griffin. For the colour, I went with a gold-orange shading colour to give it an artistic look. After, I transfered it into Blender to change the lighting.
Software: Sculpris / Blender / Premiere Pro
M FOR MIHA
As my first attempt at Adobe Character Animator, I decided to use one of my old sketches and bring it to life by using the software. The character named Miha can blink, talk using lip sync and move by following the actions of the person in front of the camera. Also, a video has been made to talk about myself a bit and to inspire others to not give up on their dreams.

PLANET CRASH
Blender has been one of my favorite softwares that I enjoy using the most. By learning about soft body and physics, I animated two planets that collides with each other. Also, once they get closer, the soft body property activates which creates a hitting effect. To make the project more appealing, I went with a galaxy background, fixed the lighting and angle to make it more dynamic.

WHY WASTE ME?
It was an ad created for the LeftOvers campaign that is used in Calgary to bring awareness about food waste. The focus was to use humour by showcasing different types of pain that wasted vegetables can go through. Each vegetable has its own colours and different statistics to emphasize this issue.

MONTREAL THIS WEEK
This is an interactive magazine that showcases 2018 events from the “Montreal En Lumière” festival. The biggest challenge was to find a dynamic type of grid that would match the event. I decided to play with typography and several different colours by choosing a keyword for each one of the events and made it bigger and colourful to create a fun looking contrast.

SEMAINE DE LA FRANCOPHONIE
This project was designed for the Vanier French Department to showcase “Semaine de la Francophonie. For this project, I incorporated a vibrant colour palette and illustrated a tilted old Hollywood camera to add excitement to the design but to also showcase that the French language is old but an amazing one to learn. The biggest challenge for this design was to keep the hierarchy between the elements. My design was chosen as the winning poster and I also created a small program booklet for the event that matches the poster’s style.

PSYCHOLOGY TODAY
This is a magazine that showcases interesting psychology facts. For this cover, I decided to approach the issue in a symbolic way by illustrating how technology is “draining” jobs away. The background represents a drawn illustration of a drain which matches the metaphor. Orange is used to highlight and bring awareness to the keywords.

SIX WORD STORY
This piece was inspired by a daily issue that most of us encounter in life although we want to avoid it: toxic relationships. The main goal was to give to this piece an artistic look by adding my own illustrations and implementing a bright watercolour palette that showcases how relationships come and go just like the water from the colours.

MANY VISIONS
For this project, I decided to illustrate cultural stereotypes in a symbolic way. To accomplish this goal, I illustrated a mermaid that wears different types of tattoos that symbolize different cultures. For instance, the flower tattoo on her forehead was inspired from the Chinese culture while the other ones on her body are from a trend known as “Henna”. Also, her outfit was inspired from the japanese culture with an imitation of a kimono. The shark behind her represents how people sometimes judge other cultures by not knowing exactly whats going on. It is quite an abstract piece with many visions which makes it unique.
